Is the exalt function now gone? I've liked using it, especially when people go to great lengths to research and post information: milowent, hyemew, and now jayhenry.

It is still there, but I assume you can only use it so many times within a certain period of time. Wait a little bit and try again?

Thank you for changing the moderator colour from red to purple. My eyes no longer burn when they look at the main page.

No problem though, it was getting to me, too. It was a temporary color.

Your skins are too harsh for me, having to use default.

This is an overly odd suggestion, but I get it from 1) horror movies (like Saw, for one) and 2) Social Sciences (I have a Masters degree in one of them)...
Often in situations where we are researching a phenomenon demographics are important. What I mean is this: In Saw, the characters were all chosen to solve the mystery/save themselves from a gruesome death for a reason. Also, in an election in southern california one of the incumbents was voted out of office because the demographics of his district changed and that shift allowed a Democrat/hispanic/female to be elected.
Here's the point: Is there something that all of us (who post frequently and are really involved with this investigation) have in common? Just going down the introductions there seems to be a lot of variation, so this may be going nowhere...but 1) What is the majority of us's age range 2) level of education 3) income level 4) what is our favorite genre of film? book? tv show?
Perhaps knowing these general things (like your poll on what we *wish* this all was) would give us an insight into who this is aimed at and help us nail down all of our loose ends???
Sorry for the crazy long post!! (you're doing a great job by the way, Alissa!

If you'd be interested in a new chat server, I suggest the one us nutty ARG people use:
irc.chat-solutions.org
It's nice and stable, although it will probably crash just to spite me.
Edit: Sorry, folks, it is .org, not .com! Corrected above.

I'll leave the Chat-Solutions.org room up and running if people would like to use it. On the plus side, if you find you're interested in ARGs, the channels that we use at Unfiction.com are all on the same server.
