Anyway, I thought the vid was really well done for what it was. The phorum is nuts over this one, imagine that. Lots of conjecture if DB was "triggered" or some such goings on....

Be interesting to see the LGPedia entry on who directed this one. Glenn?

I don't think DB was triggered, looks like a female arm putting the car into gear, at least it wasn't Yousef's!
So they used the putting that stuff on a rag and suffocating them (at least Jonas) with it until they pass out technique... whatever happened to free will?

This won't last, what kind of a show would it be if they were captured for the remaining duration (forever) of it?

Seeing as they've been talking about doing this whole 'private' thing for awhile, I was expecting something a little more dazzling than just five extra words tacked onto the description. It took them several weeks to figure which five words those would be? Did it take them that long to figure out how to spell those words? Find all the keys? What took so long? That's pretty ridiculous.


And this video wasn't too bad. Interesting. Was it me or did it seem like maybe Jonas was driving? Or like he was an accomplice? I didn't see him get 'taken out'. Dunno. Maybe Aunt Alex filmed. Heh.

I'll have to rewatch but I definitely don't think I saw Jonas get kidnapped.



Edit: Was it me or did it seem like the server was being slow? Then again... there was a special on VH1 or something that featured LG15, so maybe there's a lot of server traffic.

Edit 2: I give up trying to load the page right now to rewatch. The server seems to have basically crashed for me. Hmph!

Part of the "Who Sees What...." debacle. I always thought that it would start the OTHER way around though, with the Trio posting private vids so the Orderites would not know all of their plans. Per usual, the c's have put their unique twist on things.

Oh, and Imparfaite you have NO IDEA how much time and effort it took to get that those five words attached to a video.

I liked this video a lot better than the last... several... I think it was fairly well done and I am interested (yay!) to see where they go next.

The only thing is that the idea of "private" videos seems to be a bit problematic with the direction the creators are going in. What I mean by this is that at the Phorum (which they have tried to make an integral part of the series), where there is the in-character section that can be accessed and posted in by any member, will probably get filled with die hard fans trying to warn the LG characters of private videos they have seen. It kind of spoils the illusion. Everything seems a bit blurred over there. I think the creators need to be a bit more clear-cut with in-character and out of character sections if they don't want to contaminate the storyline.

Oh yes, it is rife with potential for all kinds of problems. They are some LONG and detailed threads, with some good suggestions from the more rational phorumites, about how to pull this off with some sense of logic. It's convoluted though and only reinforces my rants that the vlog format is NOT conducive to a cloak and dagger style storyline without lots of "engineering" involved.

As this has become more of a "game", the rules should have been firmly established with the release of the first Op video. They better jump on this. Fast. It's not without precedence though, many role playing games are played very successfully. It will take some work by the Mods to maintain things and the in-character sections are really a grossly undeveloped part of the long vaunted interactive features of the project. Lots of potential for cool stuff (and mayhem) to go on.

They have some pretty sharp mods though, particularly Trainer101, and the ARG folks are pretty "big" on following the rules of the game . They just need some rules to work with, I suspect Glenn could be a big help with this if he is still involved...

Indeed it was...I am cautiously optimistic they can pull this off though if they invest some time to organize things correctly. The c's are marketing themselves as ARG producers, this will test their mettle.

Here's what I don't understand. If some is making this video for someone else in the order, then why is it so 'artistic?'

If a colleague of mine made a video like that to tell me something I would go mad. I would just want to know what happened, why, where how ect. They just need to pass the facts around, not impress everyone with fancy editing and camera techniques. I would have thought a 'normal' (Bree like) vlog with the clips of what happened would be suitable.

Anyone explain this?
