From interesting Aunt Alex to 'back to the same old Order' Aunt Alex. Good performance, terrible story. Interest finally surrenders to Inevitability.

From interesting Aunt Alex to 'back to the same old Order' Aunt Alex. Good performance, terrible story. Interest finally surrenders to Inevitability. You hit that nail right on the head. Everyone is connected to the 'effing' Order! Seems to be the only thing we know - and are ever going to know about the series. Yet we still don't really know what the Order even is. All they seem to do is, 'OMG, so-and-so is in the order! Let's run!....Or kill them!' or 'So-and-so is not in the Order, lets sit back and send out the most obscure, faulted plan we can think of to make them come to the Order. And if that doesn't work, we'll just sit back again and wait for the next coincidence to occur so we can get them back....maybe....' I can't help feeling just so disheartened. I haven't really posted much since the era of 'OMG LG15 is fake!!!' Even though that got a bit much at times, at least we were able to interact with the series more, and there was more of a connection between the LG15 word and our world. I loved it when we were all google sleuths!  Back then there was some hope to unlocking the secrets, but now everything is just such a stretch - so reminiscent of a show like Passions or something - that there is nothing there to really keep genuine interest with a lot of us anymore. The only reason I'm still watching is because I am desparately hoping that they prove me wrong and become ... credible?... again. Maybe 'credible' seems like a bit too harsh of a word, but I hope that things evolve to have clear explanations that are realistic - even in the context of their world, which they don't seem to be at them moment - plausible and beliveable. Lol, those are pretty much all the same thing! Anyway I could go on for hours about it, so I'll just leave it there, and I hope that this new (inevitable  ) 'twist' actually turns out to be a real twist and twists the series back in the right direction! |
